Trustees

Trustees are elected at a General Meeting by a two-thirds majority. The board consists of not fewer than two and not more than fifteen trustees.

Trustee tenure is five years, with cessation conditions including resignation, loss of membership, insanity, bankruptcy, conviction for dishonesty, removal vote, or ceasing residence in Nigeria.

Any vacancy is filled by the General Meeting.

Meetings & Quorum

  • Annual General Meeting: two-thirds of members in attendance.
  • Board of Trustee Meeting: two-thirds of trustees present.
  • Extraordinary General Meeting: two-thirds majority of members in attendance.
  • Executive council/committee meeting: two-thirds present.

Leadership Structure

The governing body is the Executive Committee (Trustees), including Chairman, Secretary, and other selected members responsible for strategic oversight and implementation supervision.

Financial Transparency

  • Corporate account is maintained in the NGO's name.
  • Accurate records of all funds and expenditure are maintained.
  • Independent licensed auditors are appointed annually.
  • Audited report is presented at AGM and attached to annual CAC returns.

Sources of Income

Grants, aid, voluntary contributions, membership dues, and donations provide funding for mission activities and operations.

Resources are managed under clear controls and internal accountability procedures.
